The Collegiate 100 Chapter of The Fort Valley State University Hosted Its First Health and Wellness Forum on March 18, 2015

The event was held in the Fort Valley State University Café during “Fried Chicken Wednesday”, to help promote health and wellness awareness. The FVSU Collegiate 100 participants included Kyle Beadles–Smith, Kevin Mays, Otte Barake, Phillip Anderson, Emmet Doe, Lincoln Mcfaggart, Nicholas Pope, Latif Bunting, Will Lewis, Hayden Singleton, Lawrence Bacon, Antuan Smith. Special thanks to all FVSU Collegiate 100 Members, especially Kyle Beadles-Smith who explained about the importance of alkaline food and water in the body, and the positive effects of alkalizing your body. Additionally, Lawrence Bacon, Otte Barake and Antuan Smith served food to the students in place of the FVSU Café workers. The FVSU Health and Wellness event was very informative, and very well received by both FVSU Student Body and Staff.
